By using Rapunzel’s Retreat (referred to also as ‘we or ‘us’) and/or placing an order the customer (also referred to as ‘you’) agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below, which shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England.

By using this website you consent to the processing of information as described in our Privacy Policy, and to providing us with lawful, accurate, complete and up-to-date information.

Delivery Information:

UK Delivery

Last posting date to receive orders in time for Christmas Day is 12 noon on Wednesday 18th of December for Standard Delivery. 

Please contact us by email before ordering if Christmas Day deliveries are required after this date as we can dispatch via a premium method which will incur an additional surcharge, payable before dispatch. We reply to emails usually within 2 hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

We dispatch the majority of orders same day when received before 3pm Mondays – Fridays. Orders received after 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day. Occassionally orders may incur a delay and take 24 hours to process for dispatch though this does not usually affect the estimated delivery timescales.

We tailor the delivery experience to meet your needs; whether you wish to have the security of tracking and signatures or a place to collect parcels at your leisure away from your home or workplace, we have a delivery option for you.

Our most popular services are FREE delivery on orders over £50 and Standard delivery. Here’s an outline the benefits of our UK delivery methods:

Please email info@rapunzelsretreat.com or contact us for a quote. Small/light parcels may be a reasonabe price, however, large/heavy parcels may be quite expensive. 

* If you require delivery to a specific Collect + point for delivery, then please fill in the 'Additional Comments' section on your order with your request (or contact us within the hour after you place your order by email) to ensure your preferred location is chosen. If no preference is given, then the nearest Collect + location will be chosen on your behalf, by default, for your convenience.

We currently only deliver to the UK through the website. EU/International deliveries can be placed with prior arrangement. Please see below for details.

Outside the UK

We do deliver to the EU, USA and Rest of the World though we need to calculate the shipping charges prior to your order as these are based on size, weight and speed of delivery. These orders are placed through our PayPal invoicing system rather than the website currently but are calculated quickly.

Please can customers outside the UK email their country, postal code/zip code and details of the items they are interested in purchasing. Rapunzel’s Retreat will email through the post and packaging costs for sending the items listed. If the customer agrees to the shipping costs, a PayPal invoice will be sent by email to the customer as our current online website system does not process International/EU orders. All orders will be dispatched once payment has been received. If payment is received prior to 3pm Mon-Fri (GMT London) orders will be dispatched same day, otherwise they will be sent on the next working day.

Customs, import duties and/or handling fees may be applied to your order. These are the responsibility of the customer upon delivery and we have no control of these charges, nor can we predict what they may be, if any are incurred. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. Delivery estimates quoted do not include any delays which may occur due to customs.

If packages are returned to us, due to the customer being unable to collect the parcel, for any reason, or by not paying the customs, import duties and/or additional handling fees incurred, we can only refund the cost of items returned to us, less the original delivery fees.

For high value orders we reserve the right to upgrade your delivery method to offer enhanced delivery protection.

Placing an order

Your contract for an order is only complete once we have taken full payment, dispatched goods and sent your dispatch email. A confirmation email does not constitute a contract with us and we reserve the right to refuse an order for any reason.

Rapunzel’s Retreat cannot be held responsible for incorrect billing or shipping addresses submitted at the time of order. Please double-check your details prior to submitting your order as we dispatch very quickly. If you have any problems please email info@rapunzelsretreat.co.uk

Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your goods however if you wish to return them to us, for whatever reason you may do so, at your own cost. We are unable to provide a free returns service currently, except in cases of faulty goods. Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (from the day after you receive your goods) to cancel the contract for your order with us. You must inform us of your wish to return goods either via the online returns process or via email before sending the items back to us.

We highly recommend you use a tracked, insured service as you are responsible for making sure the items arrives back to us and in a good, saleable condition with all packaging complete and intact. We will inspect all items on return before issuing a refund. In certain circumstances we may return goods back to you and deny a refund if goods are soiled e.g. excessive use of perfume or smoke, for example.

In the case of faulty items or goods damaged/broken in the post we will pay for them to be returned via your nearest Collect + point. The goods will be inspected on return before refunds will be issued for both the item and the original delivery costs. A replacement or exchange may also be arranged instead of a refund at your request.

All refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the item via the original payment method.

We currently only serve UK customers but will soon be expanding to include EU and International customers. We reserve the right to cancel your order when ordered from countries outside the UK.

Use of Website

The intellectual property rights in all content made available to you on or through this website remains the property of Rapunzel’s Retreat or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws around the world. All such rights are reserved by Rapunzel’s Retreat. If you wish to use material or write a feature about Rapunzel’s Retreat or the products we offer, please contact us for explicit written permission on info@rapunzelsretreat.com You may store and print content for your own personal use only. None of the content may be used for commercial purposes.

Prices are subject to change at any time whilst displayed on our website. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable). We measure our items as best as possible and then give an approximate figure for indicative purposes, if you require exact measurements please email and we will double-check prior to your order. Likewise the colour of items are described and photographed as best as possible but we cannot guarantee the photography will show the exact shade of the product ordered. We cannot refund postage costs for the return of items (or the original delivery costs) in these instances but customers may follow email to receive a refund number and then return the product for a refund of the item. 

We will not be held liable if the website or its content is unavailable. We will perform site maintenance intermittently and this may happen at any time necessary.

You may link to the Rapunzel’s Retreat home page or the individual product pages through the integrated sharing features within the website, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

Links displayed on our Website

We may display links to other websites which may be of interest to you. Please note we are in no way responsible for the content or safety of these sites. Once you click through into the other website we are not liable for any damage these websites may cause. Please contact the individual website owner regarding any problems about their own sites.

Unauthorised Access

We take reasonable care to safeguard against unauthorized parties accessing your order information. However, we shall not be held liable for any loss caused by a third party accessing the data you’ve provided while using our website. We shall not be held liable to any person for any loss caused by the use of any of the information contained in or displayed on the Rapunzel’s Retreat website.
